Make Your Business Work for You!
If you run a business, your world is probably full of “shoulds”.
You should have a website…
You should be attending networking events…
You should work on weekends to get caught up…
You should be doing reels and lives…
But here’s the thing. You’re not going to succeed in your business if you’re trying to do “all the things”.
Instead you’re going to make yourself tired, overworked and overwhelmed.
Define Your Success
I came across the best quote recently:
Success is your life matching your vision.
If this definition of success resonates with you, would you call yourself successful?
I guess it’s all about why you started your own business in the first place. A lot of the reasons I hear from my clients are:
- To spend more time with my kids
- To have more control over my time
- To do work that lights me up
- To make a difference
- To earn more than I could working for someone else
When you look at your business as it currently is, does it align with your original vision? Or have you moved in the opposite direction?
Your Business, Your Life.
The best news is – your business is your business.
Despite what some of us tend to think (myself included) there is no rule book for how a business must be run.
You can choose how you work, when you work and what your business looks like.
So decide what you want, where your priorities lie. Plan your change and make it happen.
